Police Investigating Homicide in Eldora; Search for Suspect is Underway

Police are still searching for a man connected to a homicide that happened in Eldora on Friday. Friday at about 5:45 a.m., the Eldora Police Department responded to an emergency 911 call at a residence located at 1401 17th Avenue in Eldora. Police located a deceased female inside the residence. 

In a press release sent out Friday, the Eldora Police Department says 29-year-old Nathan Cole Bahr is wanted by authorities in connection with the homicide. 

Bahr is a white male and is five-feet-nine-inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Bahr is traveling in a 2020 gray Toyota Camry, bearing an Iowa blackout license plate that reads EMRGLL. Sunday, the Eldora Police Department said the license plate may have been changed to KHA681. The Eldora Police Department was assisted by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, DCI, Iowa State Patrol, Eldora Emergency Management and Eldora EMS.

Bahr is 5'9" and weighs 195 lbs.
