HD-CAL Homecoming Coronation held last night
Brody Walton was crowned last night as HD-CAL Homecoming King for 2023.
Walton is the son of Jen and Heath Walton. He’s on the football team and will play Nevada tonight in the homecoming game with a kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.
This year’s HD-CAL Homecoming Queen is Lydia Maas, the daughter of Robin and Zach Maas.
Lydia and another member of the homecoming court ran at a cross country meet in Clear Lake yesterday before quickly returning to Hampton.
The coronation was followed by a student bonfire at the school.
The homecoming parade for today has been cancelled. A community pep rally will be held in the high school gym at 1:45 p.m. The homecoming dance will be Saturday from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the high school.
