City council in Parkersburg discusses an audit
The Parkersburg City Council recently discussed the independent auditors’ report on the city’s fiscal year 2022 budget.
There was consensus about making sure that all extra time submitted is being documented specifically and verified by the mayor as recommended.
It was also agreed upon that the expectations need to be clear, all of the hours being recorded are justified, and that there will be consequences for not logging hours or work performed as required.
