Drivers can expect to be sharing the road with farm equipment for the next several weeks.
Franklin County Sheriff Aaron Dodd tells Radio on the Go News that he’s witnessed some drivers take chances when they should not do so, like passing farm equipment on a hill.
Dodd says people need to put their smartphones down while driving.
From 2017 through June 30th, 2022, the Iowa Department of Transportation reported that 30 people died in crashes involving farm equipment in the state.
