Hansen Family Hospital Provider Wins Preceptor of the Year Award
Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls has announced that Dr. Thomas Waters has earned the 2022 Community Preceptor of the Year Award from the University of Iowa.
The Community Preceptor of the Year Award winner is chosen by a committee from the University of Iowa based on several factors; the longevity of the preceptor, how many students mentored by the preceptor, student feedback and preceptor rating all factor into choosing a winner.
Waters has been a preceptor for the University of Iowa for four years and has mentored over 14 students. He has been with Hansen Family Hospital and Clinics for seven years.
