Ackley City Council held a special meeting
Tuesday afternoon the Ackley City Council held a special meeting and discussed the latest on the Eldora EMS/Ackley Volunteer Ambulance Service merger.
Ackley Mayor Michael Nuss updated the council on a meeting with the City of Eldora regarding the ambulance merger. Nuss says Eldora officials were hesitant in moving forward on the merger due to the current city finances, however, Eldora was unable to provide all finances at the meeting.
Nuss has spoken with Shawn Davis, the Eldora/Ackley EMS Director, and Nuss along with Davis are working on call numbers and finances to take back to the City of Eldora for further discussion.
