Alden City Council receives update on a new cell tower
This week the Alden City Council received an update on a new cell tower project from U-S Cellular.
The tower will be 150 feet tall with the ability to extend to 170 feet when other carriers piggyback on the tower.
A company official says the new tower will help to improve service in the area.
In other business, the Alden City Council approved a contract to update the city’s code of ordinances for 5-thousand dollars.
