School board in Iowa Falls moving forward on building improvement work

The Iowa Falls School Board recently approved a resolution to move forward with plans to issue about $8,750,000 in School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bonds.

The funds will be used to help pay for some school improvement projects.

In other business, the Iowa Falls board approved the installation of air conditioning units at Rock Run Elementary, Riverbend Middle School, and at Iowa Falls-Alden High School.

The work is to begin this summer with a goal of having substantial work completed by the start of the next school year.
