First softball rankings released
The first softball rankings of the season have been released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
In Class 1A, the top three are Southeast Warren, Martensdale-St. Marys and Remsen-St. Mary’s. Collins-Maxwell is #7, St. Edmond is #8, Newman Catholic is #11 and Clarksville is $14.
The top three in Class 2A are Regina Catholic, Lisbon and Central Springs. North Union is #7, Osage is #12 and South Hardin is #15.
Williamsburg, Assumption and Saydel lead the Class 3A poll. Sumner-Fredericksburg is #13 and Algona is #14.
In Class 4A, Dallas Center-Grimes, Fort Dodge and North Scott lead the poll.
Class 5A is led by Waukee Northwest, Valley and Southeast Polk.
