Second softball rankings released
The second softball rankings of the season have been released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
In Class 1A, the top three are Southeast Warren, Newell-Fonda and Remsen-St. Mary’s. Collins-Maxwell is #6, Newman Catholic is #9, Saint Edmond is #10 and Clarksville is up two spots to #12.
The top three in Class 2A are Regina Catholic, Central Springs and Lisbon. North Union is #6, South Hardin is up eight spots to #7, and Osage is #11.
Williamsburg, Assumption and Saydel lead the Class 3A poll. Sumner-Fredericksburg is #11.
In Class 4A, Dallas Center-Grimes, Fort Dodge and Norwalk lead the poll.
Class 5A is led by Valley, Waukee Northwest and Southeast Polk.
