Fourth volleyball rankings released
The fourth volleyball rankings have been released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The North Iowa Cedar League is well-represented with 10 of its 15 teams appearing.
In Class 1A, the top three are Ankeny Christian, North Tama and Holy Trinity Catholic. BCLUW is #6, AGWSR is down a spot to #8, Don Bosco is #9, Saint Ansgar is #13 and Gladbrook-Reinbeck is #15.
The top three in Class 2A are Dike-New Hartford, Hinton and Grundy Center. Sumner-Fredericksburg is #4, Denver is #5, South Hardin is up a spot to #7, Wapsie Valley is #11 and Aplington-Parkersburg is down three spots to #15.
Class 3A is led by Western Christian, Mount Vernon and Des Moines Christian. Union is #4 and Osage is #13.
In Class 4A, the top three are Clear Creek-Amana, Indianola and ADM.
Class 5A is led by Dowling Catholic, Ankeny Centennial and Ankeny.
