Clarksville Football Looks to Remain Undefeated at Tripoli in Week 4

The Clarksville football team travels to Iowa Star Conference foe Tripoli for a district matchup Friday night.

The Indians are 4-0 after a 36-15 district win at home over Janesville in Week 3. Head Coach Darren Bohlen says the Panthers are young and competitive and says the Indians are looking forward to a great night of football.

"They are always ready to compete and I think that Coach Urbanek, always has them prepared," says Bohlen. "It's gonna be a game that we got to go into and be ready for it. I understand that they did lose, I think 10 seniors from last year, who were very good, so they got some young guys in there but you know those young guys are competing and that's what we got to be ready for. Tripoli has some great tradition and it is an Iowa Star battle, so we are looking forward to it and our kids are looking forward to it and I'm sure their's are. It's just gonna be a fun night of football and hopefully we can come out with a win."

The Indians are led by senior rushing quarterback McKade Bloker with 639 rushing yards which is the most in Eight Player Class and fourth most rushing yards in the state this season, 90 passing yards, and 10 touchdowns (eight rushing and two passing).
