Week 5 football rankings released
Radio Iowa has released its Week 5 football rankings.
In 8-Player, the top three are Gladbrook-Reinbeck, Winfield-Mount Union and CAM. Don Bosco is #7 and Clarksville has entered the rankings at #9.
The top three Class A teams are Woodbury Central, Saint Ansgar and Madrid. West Hancock is #5, Nashua-Plainfield is #6 and Lake Mills is #9.
Grundy Center, MFL MarMac and Underwood lead the Class 1A poll. Denver is #5 and Dike-New Hartford has rejoined the rankings at #8. Sumner-Fredericksburg dropped out.
In Class 2A, the top three are Van Meter, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock and West Lyon. Osage is #8.
Class 3A is led by WIlliamsburg, Harlan and Creston. Clear Lake is #5, Hampton-Dumont-CAL is up three spots to #6 and Webster City is #7.
The top three in Class 4A are ADM, Western Dubuque and North Polk.
Class 5A is led by Southeast Polk, Dowling Catholic and Bettendorf.
