Dike-New Hartford Volleyball takes care of business in sweep of Hudson
It was business as usual for the #1 (2A) Dike-New Hartford volleyball team Tuesday in its 3-0 sweep of Hudson at home.
The Wolverines cruised despite giving up more points in each set as the night went on, taking the match 25-8, 25-9, 25-16. DNH led 14-1 to start the opening set, before the Pirates began to find rhythm offensively. The Wolverines set the tone by scoring the first eight points of the second set. Hudson battled to within 9-6 in the third set before DNH earned the sweep.
Dike-New Hartford is now 24-0 and will be back in action Saturday at a tournament hosted by #10 (5A) Iowa City Liberty.
