This week the Greene City Council approved and confirmed the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of the cost for the proposed 4th Street water main improvement project.
However, the SEH firm presented the council with a list of bids for the project, and the bids were higher than expected due to boring costs.
SEH has been working on new specs to open it up to open cutting, with repaving half of the road along with curb and gutter.
The Greene City Council then rejected all the bids for the 4th Street water main improvement project.
