The Hampton-Dumont-CAL girls tennis team was one of two of the school’s teams in action Monday. They fell 6-3 at home to Clear Lake.
Abby Drier won 8-5 at #1 singles, Drier/Yesi Valenzuela won 8-4 at #1 doubles and Ashley Chipahua/Mattelyn McGuire won 8-6 at #3 doubles. They’ll be at Webster City Tuesday at 4:30.
In other Tuesday action, the boys tennis team will look to bounce back from two straight 9-0 losses when it hosts Webster City at 4:30 at Progress Park.
The golf teams will be in action in triangulars against Algona and St. Edmond. The boys will play at Algona Country Club and the girls will be at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course near Fort Dodge. Both will start at 4:30.
