Sheffield based Sukup Manufacturing Company is a contender in the 2025 “Coolest Thing Made in Iowa “ competition with the Sukup Mixed-Flow Dryer, and company officials say they need the public’s help to make it into the top 16.
Voting is underway, you can vote once per day, per device. The first round of voting closes May 7th.
The Sukup Mixed-Flow Dryer is the only one on the market combining patented vacuum-cooling technology with energy-saving and efficient operation. Vacuum-cooling recovers heat during the cooling process. In addition, company officials say that the mixed-flow dryers are more fuel-efficient than traditional pressure-cool dryers.
Last year, Sukup made it into the top 4 of the competition for the Safe-T Home.
