
The North Butler and West Fork girls and boys golf teams will take the course in separate Top of Iowa Conference East tournaments on Monday.
The girls will head North to Pioneer Town and Country Club for the tournament hosted by Central Springs. Pacing the Bearcats are Zoey Thompson with a nine hole low of 41 (third best score in the conference) and Amelia Thompson with a low of 44. For the Warhawks Brooke Rother has a nine hole low of 42 and Katelyn Witte has a low of 44.
The boys will be at Nashua Town and Country Club for the tournament hosted by Nashua-Plainfield. The Bearcats are led by Nolan Reser with a nine hole low of 34 (fifth best score in the conference) and Kale Mulder with a low of 39. Nolan Shreckengost with a nine hole low of 37 and Jordan Demaray with a low of 39 leads the Warhawks.
Both teams with competitive nine hole scores will look to translate their quality play to their respective 18 hole championship tournaments.
Tee off for both tournaments is at 10:00 a.m. with the girls in Manly and the boys in Nashua.
