The April 2025 report has been released by the Iowa REALTORS organization.
New listings for single-family homes jumped 10-point-7 percent to 4,667, up from the 4,214 new listings one year ago.
Active listings saw a 24-point-5 percent increase, jumping to 7,969 from the 6,403 active listings of April 2024.
Median sales price increased 4 percent year-over-year to $239,500.
And while the median days on the market increased 16-point-7 percent from the 9 days of one year ago to 11 days, the metric continued a downward trend this spring failing from the median 12 days on the market in March.
