Drought conditions are improving in Iowa.
The latest U-S Drought Monitor Report shows that through Tuesday morning, the coverage area for no drought conditions increased in the state by over 7 percent to 46-point-88 percent.
At the same time, the coverage areas for the abnormally dry and moderate drought categories both dropped from the previous week.
One year ago at this time, over 66 percent of Iowa was drought free.
