The #5 (1A) Clarksville softball team is locked in to begin their 2025 campaign as they have put together an undefeated 5-0 start.
The Indians have outscored four of their first five opponents by nine runs or more, securing run rule wins against Don Bosco, Janesville, Riceville and Charles City. They have had only one game decided by a run, which was a 6-5 win against Beckman Catholic as part of the Jerry Newton Classic hosted by Charles City on Saturday.
Clarksville enters a three game week of Iowa Star Conference action, playing at Rockford on Monday, hosting Dunkerton on Wednesday and at Baxter on Friday.
