
At the Parkersburg City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 3, they approved the appointment of Dave Cleary to fill the council vacancy. Public Works employee Hunter Maitland provided information on changes to the water plant and provided a quote to handle caustic soda from Hawkins Inc for an amount not to exceed $5,157.89, which was approved.
They approved the hiring of Reserve Officer Colton Miller to the Police Department and the purchase of police radios/equipment for $13,701.30 payable in FY2025 if the equipment arrives by the end of the fiscal year.
They also approved an engineering services agreement with Clapsaddle-Garber Associates for the 3rd Street West Alley Reconstruction Project, among other items.
