The Ackley City Council recently approved to dispose of the listed/bided assets of the police department, and to accept an offer on the items from the Parkersburg Police Department.
The Ackley council approved gifting the ammunition from the police department to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department.
In other business, the Ackley City Council received information from the city attorney to guide the city to allow Nationwide Bonding to find a solution for Splash Pad issues due to litigation would be costly and time consuming.
The city engineer was to contact TerraCon to do a concrete testing sample and inquire as to when AAA Construction would be able to perform the proposed fixes.
