According to a press release from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, AAA lists the statewide average for regular unleaded gasoline at $2.96 per gallon, up 4 cents from last week. Diesel rose by 1 cent to an average of $3.56 per gallon.
Online listings from GasBuddy show regular unleaded selling for around $2.99 per gallon in Hampton and Iowa Falls, while Parkersburg stations are slightly lower at about $2.84. Diesel in Parkersburg is currently listed near $3.69 per gallon. These prices reflect online research and are subject to change. Prices at the pump may vary by location, time of day, and retailer.
