Iowa Falls-Alden sweeps singles against AP in girls tennis Tuesday

The Iowa Falls-Alden girls tennis team earned a 7-2 home win over Aplington-Parkersburg Tuesday.

The Cadets won each singles match, though by varying margins. At #1, Joslin Johnson earned an 8-1 win over Jayden Krausman, the widest margin of victory of the day. Jordyn Carpenter at #2 and Isabelle Janssen at #3 each won 8-6.

AP won two of the three doubles matches. Aubrey Williamson/Kate Livingood won 8-6 at #2 doubles. Holly Haugstad/Briley Junker won 8-4 at #3 doubles. Johnson/Carpenter won 8-1 at #1 doubles for Iowa Falls-Alden’s only doubles win.

In their next action, the Falcons will host Waverly-Shell Rock Thursday and the Cadets will host St. Edmond Thursday.
