The deadline is coming up for area organizations to apply for a grant from the Foster and Evelyn Barkema Charitable Trust. Applications for the 2025 grant cycle must be submitted by September 30th.
The Barkema Charitable Trust awards grants to qualified tax-exempt organizations, with special consideration given to 501(c)(3) groups serving charitable, educational, literary, health, or public service needs. Eligible organizations are those located within the Belmond-Klemme, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, or West Fork school districts.
