The Alden City Council will meet in regular session Monday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. at City Hall.
The agenda includes a public hearing on a proposed 4 percent increase to both water and sewer rates, set to take effect in December. Council members will consider the first reading of an ordinance amendment, with a motion expected to waive the second and third readings before adopting the new ordinance.
Other items include discussion on road closures tied to a training burn at 302 Center Street, and setting trick-or-treat hours for Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
