Grundy Center is Set for a Spirit-Filled Week Leading to Momentous Homecoming Game

Grundy Center High School has announced their homecoming court and fun activities leading up to Friday night’s homecoming football game.

The homecoming court includes Queen candidates Jocelyn Freed, Allison Koch, Karlee Lynch, Emerson Lynch and Riah Schrage. King candidates are Pete Lebo, Judd Jirovsky, Emerson Vokes, Gabe McMartin and Eli Wegmann. On Thursday, there will be a community pancake breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the high school commons. That evening, the coronation will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the main gym at the high school. 

On Friday, there will be a parade at 1:35 p.m. followed by a pep rally at the main gym at 2:35 p.m. Later that evening the #1 (1A) Spartans will host #4 (1A) South Hardin in the homecoming game at 7:00 p.m. Following the game, the homecoming dance will take place at Orchard Hill Church to conclude the week.
