Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand is continuing his 100 Town Hall Tour across Iowa and will make two stops in the local area this week.

The first stop will be Friday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at The Rustic Brew in Hampton, located at 117 First St. NW. A second stop will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Robert W. Barlow Memorial Library in Iowa Falls, located at 921 Washington Ave.

Sand, a Democrat, is serving his second term as state auditor after first being elected in 2018. In May, he announced his candidacy for governor in the 2026 election, citing his experience in government accountability and fiscal responsibility as key parts of his platform.

The 100 Town Hall Tour is an opportunity for Sand to hear directly from Iowans about their top concerns and for residents to learn more about his efforts to make government more transparent, lower costs and improve quality of life across the state.
