The Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Friday Uncorked wine tasting event on Friday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 3 at Center 1 for $25. Several downtown businesses will feature Uncorked specials with discounts and gift ideas that make great stocking stuffers or personal treats.
Participants can check in at Center 1 beginning at 3 p.m. on Nov. 28 to pick up their wristband, wine glass and a bag courtesy of OnTheGoMedia, as well as a gift from First Bank Hampton. Each bag includes a map of participating businesses and a ballot to vote for the People’s Choice Wine and Best Appetizer.
Attendees must be 21 or older, present a valid ID and wear their wristband throughout the event. Ballots can be dropped off at any participating location that evening, automatically entering participants into a drawing for a wine-themed gift basket sponsored by Hampton Specialty Shops.
