In a press release sent Wednesday, Franklin REC says they are monitoring the weather forecast as they prepare for Saturday’s Light Up the Night event.
The cooperative is working with the city of Hampton to ensure the safety of all participants and attendees of Saturday’s activities.
At this time, no official decision has been made on whether the activities and parade will continue as scheduled. A final decision will be announced Friday, November 28th at 10:00 a.m.
