The Ackley City Council will meet Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the council chambers, where members will consider several ordinance changes, a budget amendment and a list of appointments.
A public hearing will also be held on an amendment to the fiscal year 2026 budget, followed by action on Resolution 25-44 to formalize the changes.
Council members will revisit several ongoing projects, including the Prairie Bridges 28E agreement, 2020A general obligation bond projects, and roofline concerns at the Civic Center and Pizza Ranch. Preliminary discussions for the fiscal year 2027 budget are also scheduled, along with consideration of EMS tuition support for emergency responders.
Oaths of office will be administered to Mayor Michael Nuss and council members Steven L. Ackerman and Michael Wessels.
