Clarion residents, business owners and community partners are being asked to take a survey that will help shape the community’s future housing opportunities.
The City of Clarion is partnering with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach through the Rural Housing Readiness Assessment to evaluate current housing conditions, identify gaps and develop a long-term plan that supports residents, businesses and future growth.
Officials say the survey will help determine what types of housing Clarion needs and identify barriers residents face when finding or maintaining housing. The input will also support local workforce needs, strengthen neighborhood vitality and guide future projects and investments.
Paper copies of the survey are available at the Clarion Development Alliance office at 105 2nd Ave. For more information, residents may contact Bailey Sebby at 515-532-2256.
