The Hampton-Dumont-CAL wrestling teams turned in a productive day Saturday, competing in six duals at the Indee Duals in Independence.
The Bulldog girls wrestled against Independence, Saydel and Sumner-Fredericksburg.
Against Independence, Hampton-Dumont-CAL picked up wins by fall from Megan Severs at 140 and Juliette Koch at 155. Skylar Borcherding, Elsie Kuper, Maren Subbert and Avalon Mulford won by forfeit. Independence edged the Bulldogs 40-36.
Against Saydel, Maren Subbert recorded a win by fall at 190. Adriana Gomez, Marlee Maas, Skylar Borcherding, Juliette Koch, Elsie Kuper and Avalon Mulford won by forfeit as the Bulldogs earned a 42-29 victory.
Against Sumner-Fredericksburg, Elsie Kuper, Maren Subbert and Avalon Mulford won by forfeit. Sumner-Fredericksburg won the dual 54-18.
The Bulldog boys faced Independence, Saydel and Mid-Prairie.
Against Independence, Jory Angstman won by fall at 157, while Maddon Evans earned a technical fall win at 215. Independence won the dual 69-11.
Hampton-Dumont-CAL defeated Saydel 72-12 with wins by fall from Brody Strother at 138, Jory Angstman at 157, Tristen Mulford at 190, Maddon Evans at 215 and Emmett Elling at 285. Hector Gutierrez, Kinnick Perez, Arnold Guevara Barrera, Luke Showalter, Jacob Mahler, Ryder Strother and Joseph Cruz won by forfeit.
Against Mid-Prairie, the Bulldogs earned a 76-6 win with wins by fall from Luke Showalter at 144, Ryder Strother at 165, Joseph Cruz at 175 and Tristen Mulford at 190. Jacob Mahler and Jory Angstman recorded technical fall wins at 150 and 157, respectively. Joe Guevara, Conyr Cook, Hector Gutierrez, Kinnick Perez, Arnold Guevara Barrera, Brody Strother and Maddon Evans won by forfeit.
