The Belmond City Council will meet in regular session Monday.
Council members will receive committee and staff reports, including the Belmond Growth Alliance annual report from Iran (eye-rin) Carlos Martinez. The council will also hear a presentation of Teamsters Local 238 contract proposals from Arthur Jones.
Under old business, the council will consider a resolution which would approve the mileage reimbursement rate for employees.
New business items include a proposal to transfer all library payroll and reporting responsibilities to city hall. Council members will also begin discussion on the city’s fiscal year 2027 budget as part of early planning for the upcoming fiscal year.
The meeting begins Monday at 7:00 p.m. at city hall.
