The Franklin County Republican Central Committee is planning a community event next month in Hampton tied to the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. The group will host a fundraiser called “Liberty and Lyrics” on April 9 at the Franklin County Convention Center in Hampton. The evening will feature live entertainment from Midwest Dueling Pianos along with a meal and cash bar.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. that evening, with the meal served until 6:00 and the program will follow. Organizers say the event will also include introductions and announcements of Republican candidates running for election, giving attendees an opportunity to hear from local and regional candidates. Tickets for the event are 40 dollars and will be available both in advance and at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
