Franklin County supervisors outline March 10 agenda

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, March 10, at the Franklin County Courthouse.

County Treasurer Chad Murray will discuss a status change and wage adjustment for Cindy Shelton and the appointment of Angela Horner as deputy treasurer, along with a fiscal year 2026 budget amendment request.

Sheriff Aaron Dodd is also expected to discuss a separate fiscal year 2026 budget amendment request. Facilities Director Ryan Peterson will seek approval to issue a request for proposals for the G.A.R Memorial Hall roof replacement and to set a bid opening date.

Under new business, supervisors will review budget amendment requests, consider setting public hearings on the amendments, and discuss a proposed ordinance that would place a moratorium on new permit applications for data center projects in unincorporated areas of Franklin County.

The board will also consider accepting the courthouse roof project and disallowing two family farm tax credit applications for assessment year 2025 based on a recommendation from the county assessor.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m.
