The Aplington City Council will meet in regular session on Wednesday, March 11.
Council members are scheduled to discuss several public works items, including the roof at the post office and community center, a solar connection project and the Dumont telephone hub. Department reports will follow from the police, fire, library, ambulance and pool officials.
In other business, Greg Nevenhoven will discuss city insurance. The council will also discuss a possible replacement furnace for city hall and review a water heater project and insurance increase connected to the Aplington Recreation Center (ARC).
The agenda also includes setting a date for a city budget workshop and discussing issues related to dogs.
The Aplington City Council will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the city hall.
