The Grundy Center City Council will meet Monday evening to consider an ordinance update, event planning items and upcoming financing proposals.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Council members are set to take action on the third reading of an ordinance, which would amend city code related to the city clerk and public works director positions.
The council will also consider a resolution approving street closures for Felix Grundy Days, scheduled for July 10-11.
In addition, officials will vote on a resolution to set a May 4 public hearing date on proposals to enter into general obligation loan agreements and borrow funds.
The consent agenda includes authorization to publish dates for open burning from April 7 through May 31 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for April 20.
