
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors approved a series of resolutions and agreements during its regular meeting Tuesday at the courthouse.
Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing the issuance of $1.3 million in general obligation urban renewal bonds, Series 2026, and levying taxes to repay the same. The measure passed unanimously on a roll call vote.
The board also approved a resolution authorizing an operating transfer of $5,000 from the general basic fund to Home Care.
Supervisors also approved nonprofit funding agreements for fiscal year 2027 with Crisis Intervention Services, the Franklin County Development Association and CAL Over 60’s.
Additionally, the board tabled action on adopting the fiscal year 2026-27 Iowa Department of Transportation secondary roads budget and five-year construction program.
