
The Clarksville School Board has approved its certified budget for the upcoming school year.
During Wednesday’s meeting, board members adopted the fiscal year 2027 budget, setting the tax rate at $15.56 per $1,000 of taxable valuation. A public hearing was held prior to the vote, with no comments from the public.
The board also approved a budget guarantee resolution to help maintain funding levels.
In other business, members approved several personnel changes, including the termination of maintenance director Eric Knoblock.
Board members also approved the Class of 2026 graduation list, pending completion of requirements, and added new courses in ag science and forensic science.
Additional actions included approving a student Eagle Scout project, a nurse sharing agreement with North Butler, and setting a May 18 public hearing on changes to the current school year budget.
