The Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Iowa Falls-Alden soccer teams will meet Thursday. The girls will play in Iowa Falls on 104.9 KLMJ and RadioOnTheGo’s YouTube channel, and the boys will play in Hampton on 99 The Wave.
The Bulldog boys have won two straight, a season-best streak. Head Coach Danielle Arana feels like the team could still reach a higher level of consistency from game to game.
Hunter Rieken is third in the North Central Conference with seven goals scored.
Iowa Falls-Alden will go for its first win, and has been shut out in four of the last five games.
The #14 (1A) Cadet girls will look to maintain what’s been a strong season. They bounced back from their only loss with a 10-0 win over Webster City Monday. Grace Hartford is fourth in the league with 10 goals, and Kymri Koenigsfeld is second with 11 assists.
Hampton-Dumont-CAL is coming off a 9-2 loss to Garner Hayfield Ventura in their previous game, but maintained a 2-2 margin in the second half.
The games will start at 5:30 p.m. with coverage starting at 5:25.
