Beau Klaver, a candidate for the Iowa House of Representatives in District 55, has announced three co-chairs for his campaign.
The campaign co-chairs are Jori Showalter, an H.R. director of learning and development at Landus Cooperative from Franklin County; Jamie Griffith, Hamilton County Fair manager and board secretary from Hamilton County; and Brian Janssen, a local businessman from Story County.
Klaver says he is proud his campaign has gained the leadership and endorsement of the three co-chairs. He says he appreciates their confidence in him to provide what he called mature and steady representation for Iowa House District 55.
Klaver is running in an open-seat race after current Republican Rep. Shannon Latham chose not to seek reelection. Klaver faces Kurtis Bower of Roland for the Republican nomination in the June primary. Cynthia Paschen is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination.
Iowa House District 55 includes all of Franklin and Hamilton counties and portions of Wright and Story counties.
