The Grundy Center City Council will consider updates to city leadership terms, financing measures and local ordinances when it meets Monday evening.
The council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. May 4 at city hall.
On the agenda is the second reading of an ordinance that would change the appointment terms for the city’s ambulance chief and police chief to three years.

Several financing-related items are up for action, including a public hearing and resolution tied to a proposed essential purpose loan agreement. The council will also consider setting a future hearing on a general obligation loan of up to $550,000 and approving an engagement letter with Speer Financial Inc. for bond issuance.
In other business, the council is expected to consider a resolution authorizing an agreement with Grundy County Memorial Hospital for drug testing services and a policy outlining regulations and permits for the RAGBRAI pass-through event scheduled for July 23.
