Aplington-Parkersburg placed third with 314 strokes at Thursday’s NICL Boys Golf Tournament at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. They were five strokes behind East Marshall and 11 behind Columbus Catholic. Nate Peters led the Falcons with 76 strokes

IHSAA announces tennis team postseason brackets

The IHSAA has announced tennis team postseason brackets. This season, 32 teams in each class were selected to participate. In 1A Substate 5, Aplington-Parkersburg will take on Grundy Center in a neutral site match at Luther College.
