Aplington-Parkersburg placed third with 314 strokes at Thursday’s NICL Boys Golf Tournament at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. They were five strokes behind East Marshall and 11 behind Columbus Catholic.
Nate Peters led the Falcons with 76 strokes to place seventh. Benny Waller was ninth with 77.
Grundy Center was fourth with a team score of 315. Judd Jirovsky led the team with a third place finish in 74 strokes. Jaxon Kiewiet was eighth with 77.
AGWSR was 12th with a score of 348. Lane Olson led the team with 82 strokes to place 23rd.
Dike-New Hartford finished with 363 strokes to place 13th. The leading Wolverine was Drew Destival, placing 39th with 85 strokes.
South Hardin was 14th with a score of 365. Owen Larson placed 12th with 79 strokes.
The teams will enter postseason play next week.
