The Dumont City Council will meet Thursday and is scheduled to hold a public hearing on an amendment to the current fiscal year budget. The council will then consider adoption of said amendment.
Council members are also expected to discuss the open public works position and receive an update on Sandbaggin’ Days street closures, including possible action on lifting the city’s noise ordinance during the event.
Continued discussion on the city’s nuisance abatements is also on the agenda along with discussion on cameras at the cemetery.
The meeting begins Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the EMS Building.
