Hampton Council to meet in regular session Thursday

The Hampton City Council will meet Thursday evening with infrastructure and project items on the agenda.

Council members will hold a public hearing on plans and specifications for the storefront stabilization project at 4 and 6 First Street Northwest. The council is also expected to consider an agreement with ISG of Des Moines for consulting services related to the project.

Additional business includes consideration of the city’s employee health insurance renewal and employee contribution rates.

The council will also consider several resolutions, including ordering construction and setting a hearing date for the 2026-2027 HMA Street Rehabilitation Program. Additional resolutions involve approving plans and awarding a construction contract for the storefront stabilization project.

During staff reports, Police Chief Mark Morrison is expected to introduce new officer Todd Dolan.
