A nationwide prescription drug “Take-Back” initiative that seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft will hold the next Drug “Take-Back” day on Saturday.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department in Hampton will be one of the agencies who will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction at the county law enforcement center.
The Drug “Take-Back” day will run Saturday from 10am-2pm. This is a free, anonymous service that is designed to help keep your home safe and could even save lives.
