
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center.
The agenda includes a departmental update from Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham and a presentation from Scott Jacobsen of Summit Agricultural Group. Supervisors will also receive an environmental self-audit update related to the Rehm site and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
A significant portion of the meeting will focus on the courthouse electrical upgrade project. The board will hold a public hearing on plans and cost estimates, consider construction bids, and take action on awarding a construction contract.
The board is also scheduled to review the county’s fiscal year 2025 audit and receive an update from the county attorney on nuisance properties.
Additional items include approval of claims, drainage matters, and discussion of urban renewal bonding and public hearing dates.
The meeting is set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
